Acampados em Telavive pelo direito à habitação : Offxore

Começou por um protesto contra o aumento de 70% do preço do requeijão em 15 de Julho e um boicote via facebook de 20 000 pessoas contra os alimentos caros, o que fez baixar um tanto os preços. Mas o protesto continuou contra a dificuldade de encontrar casas acessíveis no centro de Telavive. A intimação, lançada ao governo pelo facebook, obrigou os ministros retornar à capital. Em poucos dias, o protesto estendeu-se a outras cidades. Em 23 de Julho, eram 15000 pessoas a protestar nas ruas de Telavive. Dia 25, o primeiro-ministro adiou uma visita à Polónia por causa dos protestos. E hoje, dia 26, anunciou um novo de plano de habitação, que porém ainda não satisfaz as exigências dos manifestantes.

Os estudantes respondem a Netanyahu:
Nós não permitiremos uma situação de dividir e conquistar
Horas depois de o primeiro-ministro apresentou as suas soluções a crise habitacional, os alunos que participam na luta dizem que vãocontinuar a protestar contra o "poder nenhum". "As palavras de Netanyahu nos fazem pensar isso é o suborno", disseram em entrevista colectiva, "Vamos continuar as manifestações até que a habitação baixe a preços acessíveis”

The great distress on the housing and healthcare front brought the people of Israel out to the streets this week. Hundreds of people left their homes, changed their daily routine, gave up life’s comforts and embarked on a devoted struggle in the sweltering heat and under difficult conditions – and all was done as result of genuine distress and the understanding that we must not sit by idly.
